Our DNA
Accessibility, translation: it's more than a mission, it's a calling
“In 2011, when we founded Blue Elements with Sidonie Bouchet, our ambition was straightforward yet ambitious: to transform live captioning and subtitling in general. Not just the offering. That came later. First, we focused on the method, the tools, and the subtitler’s craft.
We started by rethinking the method, which quickly led us to rethink the tools. A good part of the company’s resources were allocated to researching and experimenting with new solutions.
We then created an offer that differed from what was usually available. It was more flexible, modern, and adapted to the business.
By the end of 2012, we had started working with our own tools. That marked the beginning of our journey.
For almost 14 years, our methods and tools have evolved, and our business has changed thanks to our expert and passionate teams who launch and support all our projects.
The fundamental element at Blue Elements is people. In this age of automation and AI, it’s important to remember that educated men and women make everything possible.
The audiovisual world is constantly evolving, and at Blue, we’re evolving with it, hands on the keyboard and eyes on the future.”
Christophe Lartilleux – CEO at Blue Elements
